30-Minute Zoom Call with The Queen of Kona, Paula Newby-Fraser.

Paula Newby-Fraser is an eight-time Ironman Triathlon winner, and has won 23 Ironman Championships, more than twice the number won by the next-greatest triathlon champions.

Widely recognized as the "Queen of Kona," Paula Newby-Fraser is one of the most dominant endurance athletes in sports history. Born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, she began her athletic journey as a nationally ranked swimmer before rising to unprecedented heights in multi-sport competition. Over her legendary career, Newby-Fraser won the prestigious Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, a record eight times between 1986 and 1996, and captured 24 Ironman titles overall worldwide. In 1988, she stunned the sports world by placing 11th overall across both the men's and women's divisions, and in 1992, she became the first woman to break the elusive nine-hour barrier at Kona with a historic time of 8:55:28. Hailed by ABC's Wide World of Sports and the Los Angeles Times as "The Greatest All-Around Female Athlete in the World," she was inducted into the Ironman Hall of Fame in 1996 and continues to influence the sport today as an elite athletic coach and executive.

Please Note: Date to be mutually agreed upon by Paula Newby-Fraser, the IRONMAN Foundation, and winner. Zoom call must take place on or before December 31, 2027.
